Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. refers to its announcement on 5 December 2017 that its supervisory board had approached PwC to investigate certain accounting irregularities that had come to light and that the publication of the company's consolidated financial statements for the year ending 30 September 2017 would be postponed. PwC continues to work with the Company and its legal advisers in relation to the accounting irregularities and its independent investigation is ongoing. As a result, in accordance with its regulatory requirements, the company has informed the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets that it will not publish the 2017 Consolidated Accounts by 31 January 2018. Notwithstanding such delay, the company's issued ordinary shares will continue to be listed and trade on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
