Stabilis Solutions, Inc. elected Matthew W. Morris to serve as a director of the Company until the next election of directors. Mr. Morris was also appointed to serve on the Board's Audit and Compensation Committees. Mr. Morris, age 50, served as CEO of Stewart Information Services Corporation from 2011 to September 9, 2019 and as President from September 9, 2019 to January 2020. Prior to serving as CEO, he served in various executive management positions for Stewart Information Services Corporation, Stewart Title Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Mr. Morris also served as a consultant from January 16, 2020 to June 16, 2020. Mr. Morris has served as a director for Cornerstone Strategic Value Fund, Inc., and Cornerstone Total Return Fund, Inc. since November 2017, and is a member of the Audit Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee for both companies. He previously served as director for a strategic litigation consulting firm, offering trial, and settlement sciences, crisis management and communications strategy. On November 2, 2021 Mushahid "Mush" Khan resigned from the Board; and as a member of both the Audit and Compensation Committees. Mr. Khan's resignation is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.
Stabilis Solutions, Inc. and its subsidiaries is an energy transition company. The Company provides turnkey clean energy production, storage, transportation and fueling solutions primarily using liquefied natural gas (LNG) to multiple end markets. The Company provides liquefied natural gas (LNG) solutions to customers in diverse end markets, including aerospace, agriculture, energy, industrial, marine bunkering, mining, pipeline, remote power, and utility markets. It builds and operates cryogenic natural gas processing facilities, called liquefiers, which convert natural gas into LNG through a purification and multiple stage cooling process. It owns and operates a liquefier that can produce up to 100,000 LNG gallons per day in George West, Texas and a liquefier that can produce up to 30,000 LNG gallons per day in Port Allen, Louisiana. It offers its customers a virtual natural gas pipeline by providing turnkey LNG transportation and logistics services in North America.
