Sprint Nextel Corp. announced that it is expanding 4G LTE in the Hoosier state -- launching service in Fort Wayne, Ind. to deliver faster speeds for uploading photos, surfing the Web and streaming videos.

Sprint continues to show significant progress in the buildout of its all-new 4G LTE network -- reaching more customers every day. In addition to Fort Wayne, Sprint launched 4G LTE in Austin, Texas; Boston; Bryan/College Station, Texas; Columbia, Tenn.; Emporia, Kan.; Framingham, Mass.; Gettysburg, Pa.; and Western Puerto Rico (including Aguadilla, Isabela, Cabo Rojo, Mayag ez). In Indiana, Sprint also offers 4G LTE to customers in Anderson, Gary, Indianapolis/Carmel, Muncie and South Bend/Mishawaka.

Customers will be able to use their smartphones -- such as Samsung Galaxy S(R) III, Samsung Galaxy Note(R) II or LG Optimus G(TM) -- to share a picture of their favorite musical group or college football team or check the Web for sports scores with greater speed.
