SPDR Russell 3000 ETF, formerly SPDR Dow Jones Total Market ETF (the Fund), seeks to provide investment results, that correspond to the total return performance of an index, which tracks a universe of exchange-traded the United States equity securities. In seeking to track the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Total Stock Market Index (the Index), the Fund employs a sampling strategy. The Index is a float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index, which reflects shares of securities actually available to investors in the marketplace. To be included in the Index, an issue must be: an equity issue (common stock, real estate infrastructure trust (REIT) or limited partnership), and a security that has its market listing in the United States. SSgA Funds Management, Inc. acts as investment manager of the Fund.
