Resignation of Director
On January 19, 2021, John J. MacWilliams, advised the board of directors (the
"Board") of Spartan Acquisition Corp. II (the "Company") that he would resign as
a director and Chairman of the Board, effective immediately (the "Resignation").
The Resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any
matter relating to its operations, policies or practice. Mr. MacWilliams is
resigning to accept a national security position in the Biden administration.
