Sofiva Genomics Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 125.25 million compared to TWD 123.06 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 14.4 million compared to TWD 5.85 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.68 compared to TWD 0.28 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.67 compared to TWD 0.27 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 383.09 million compared to TWD 365.26 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 43 million compared to TWD 24.69 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.02 compared to TWD 1.16 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.01 compared to TWD 1.16 a year ago.
Sofiva Genomics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in provision of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) testing services. The Company's DNA testing services mainly contain reproductive medicine testing, pregnant women testing, newborn testing, rare disease genetic testing, personalized genetic testing, cancer genetic testing, and genetic counseling services. Reproductive Medicine testing is pre-implantation genetic diagnosis for embryos. Pregnant women testing services predict the occurrence of preeclampsia and provide prenatal diagnosis. Neonatal testing services provide neonatal hearing loss genetic test, respiratory distress syndrome test, congenital cytomegalovirus infection test service. Personalized genetic testing services includes human papilloma virus screening, paternity testing, telomere testing, chronic disease and cardiovascular disease and other genetic research.
