On October 1, 2019, SmartStop Self Storage REIT, Inc. announced that Joe Robinson, age 45, was appointed as the Company’s Chief Operations Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Robinson served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Simply Self Storage from April 2016 until September 2019. Most recently, Robinson was Vice President, Marketing where he led revenue management, data analytics, and the call center.
