Singapore, 13 July 2017- Sphere Conferences, the conference arm of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH), along with Airline Operators Committee (AOC) and the Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), today announced a partnership to launch the inaugural Indochina Aviation Conference (IAC) 2017, to be held from 23 to 24 Augustat Landmark Hotel Bangkok, Thailand.
IAC 2017 is the first strategic conference that convenes airport operators, regulators, senior airlines executives and key aviation stakeholders to strategies, plan and capitalise on the next booming aviation market in the Indochina region. It will be the platform for discussions and debates on potential growth plans for Indochina's airlines and airports as it poises to enter a major period of progress.

This conference will be launched in Thailand with the aim to accelerate growth and shape the aviation landscape in Indochina. With Thailand leading the way, the rest of the Indochina region - Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam - have followed suit, with long-term plans set aside to develop their respective markets. With so much going on in this part of the world, IAC 2017 will provide a unique platform to share and discuss these plans and ideas.

Key industry players at the event include ASEAN Air Transport Integration Project, AirAsia, Yangon Operation, Bangkok Airways, Garuda Indonesia, IATA, Inmarsat, Myanmar Airways International, Thai Airways International, VietJet, VINCI Airports Singapore Pte.Ltd and many more.

The key issues to be discussed at the conference include Aviation Management and Operations; Aviation Money Matters; Aviation Planning and Development; Aviation-Tech and Aviation Security.
