Sime Darby Plantation Berhad announced resignation of TAN SRI NIK NORZRUL THANI N. HASSAN THANI, aged 63, as Non Independent and Non Executive Member of Risk Committee. Date of change is 30 June 2023. Composition of Risk Committee(Name and Directorate of members after change): Datuk Mohd Anwar Yahya (Chairman, Independent Non-Executive Director); and Dato' Idris Kechot (Independent Non-Executive Director).

The new composition of the Risk Management Committee of Sime Darby Plantation Berhad comprises exclusively of Independent Non-Executive Directors. In accordance with Clause 2.5 of the Terms of Reference of the Risk Management Committee, the Board will fill the vacancy within three (3) months.
