Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy : The Cpmpany communicates the change of a member of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee

SIEMENS GAMESA RENEWABLE ENERGY, S.A. - SIGNIFICANT EVENT

As per set in article 17 of the Section 228 of the Regulations (UE) nº 596/2014 on market abuse and article 228 of the restated text of the Securities Market Law, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 4/2015, of October 23rd, and complementary regulations, the Company announces the following statement:

The Board of Directors of SIEMENS GAMESA RENEWABLE ENERGY, S.A. (hereinafter, "Siemens Gamesa" or the "Company") in its meeting held today, April 17, 2018, with prior report of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, has appointed Ms. Mariel von Schumann, external proprietary director of the Board of Directors of the Company, as new Member of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee. Ms. Mariel von Schumann has been appointed for the aforementioned post replacing Ms. Lisa Davis, external proprietary director, who has resigned from her post in the referred Committee but continues in her post as member of the Board of Directors. Ms. Mariel von Schumann, present in the meeting, has accepted her appointment as member of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee.
