Ocado Group plc (LSE:OCDO) reached an agreement to acquire 6 River Systems, LLC from Shopify Inc. (NYSE:SHOP) on May 4, 2023. Ocado will welcome new colleagues from 6 River Systems. Christopher Barlow, Ryan Dzierniejko, Nathan Giesselman, Ken Kumayama, Young Park, Joseph Penko of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP acted as legal advisors to Shopify Inc. Louis Goldberg, Daniel Brass, W. Soren Kreider IV, David R. Bauer, Veronica M. Wissel and Patrick E. Sigmon of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP acted as legal advisors to Ocado Group.
