Further to the Preliminary Profit Warning dated 31 January 2020, the board of directors of Sheen Tai Holdings Group Company Limited announced that, based on the Group's unaudited consolidated management accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019 (which have not been confirmed, reviewed or audited by the Company's auditors or audit committee as at the date of this announcement, and may be subject to adjustment) and other information currently available to the Group, the Group expects: to record a decrease in revenue not more than HKD 45 million arising from the sales of sub-processing cigarette film segment of the Group during the Reporting Period; and the decrease of gross profit not more than HKD 40 million from the biaxially oriented polypropylene film ("BOPP film") during the Reporting Period, which is one of the principal business activities of the Group. In addition, due to the recent outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia in mainland China and in Hong Kong, the Chinese government and the Hong Kong government respectively implemented travel restrictions and new border control measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, which in turn have impeded the Company and the Company's auditors from proceeding the accounting and audit work in schedule. As a result, the amount of impairment expected to be made regarding property, plant and equipment of the Group during the Reporting Period is still uncertain as at the date of this announcement. The Company may publish further announcement in due course to update the shareholders of the Company in this regard.
