GALS Development PAO : Kamelia and Iskra-Park have been named winners in the 2016 Real Estate Market Records Awards

The Hals-Development projects became winners in two categories of the 2016 International Real Estate Market Records Awards. Based on online voting and expert reviews, the urban Iskra-Park Quarter on Leningradsky Avenue earned its first award when it was named #1 Multipurpose Complex. The Kamelia Resort Complex was named the best Five Star Facility. The awards ceremony was held on June 7, in the Golden Palace entertainment complex.

This year, the Real Estate Market Records Awards have recognized two of our very conceptually different projects, each indeed a leader in its respective category. Iskra-Park on Leningradsky Avenue is an urban apartment quarter with an area of 2.8 hectares, standing in the vicinity of the Dinamo metro station and Petrovsky and Timiryazevsky parks. The architectural design was developed by SPEECH. Dynamic and ultra-modern, Iskra-Park has a total area of 230,000 sq m and follows the mixed-use concept, offering opportunities for comfortable living, work, and recreation. The complex includes nine varied-height (9-17 floor) buildings with various functionality (apartment buildings, office buildings, and infrastructure facilities) and an underground parking space with 1,061 parking spaces. The project offers 823 apartments with areas ranging from 37 to 130 sq m. The public places of the urban quarter will be developed in keeping with the best traditions of park design. The complex is scheduled to be commissioned in Q3 of 2018.

TheKamelia Resort Complexincludes the five-star Swissôtel Resort Kamelia Sochi hotel which has 203 rooms, 73 private apartments, and premium-level infrastructure including: a first-line two-level sand beach, a heated art-pool, bars, haute cuisine restaurants, gym, tennis courts, etc. The architectural project for reconstruction of the heritage complex was developed by Alexei Ginzburg's bureau. The personalized interior design of common hotel areas and apartments was developed by Alex Kravetz Design. Hals-Development started developing the complex, which has a total area of over 60,000 sq m in Q4 of 2011, and completed all construction works in record time-just 24 months. The Kamelia Resort Complex was commissioned in early 2014. As of today, apartments in the complex have sold out.

In 2015, two of the company's projects received awards in the 2015 Real Estate Market Records Awards. The elite Teatralny Dom Quarter on Povarskaya Street won in the '#1 Elite Real Estate' category, and the Nasledie Residential Quarter on Preobrazhenka was voted best in the 'Top Seller' category.

Every year, the International Real Estate Market Records Awards highlight the achievements of the real estate market in several segments: residential, countryside, commercial, and international real estate. In 2016, the awards were distributed in 25 categories, with over 1,300 participants competing.
