LONDON, Jan. 10, 2019 - SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) today announced the appointment of Katherine Lynas as Head of Alternative Lead Generation and Defined Benefit Consultant Relations for its Institutional Group. Lynas will be responsible for managing SEI's relationships with U.K. fiduciary management consultants, as well as continuing to build relationships with professional trustees and other key influencers in the fiduciary management market. She will report to Ian Love, Head of SEI's Institutional Group, EMEA and Asia.

With over 20 years' experience in the U.K. pensions industry, Lynas joins SEI from XPS Investment, where she served as Principal and Head of Operations following four years as Head of Manager Research in pre-merger Punter Southall Investment Consulting. Prior to her role at Punter Southall Investment Consulting, Lynas worked at Camradata Analytical Services for more than five years, lastly as Director of Research and Consulting.

Love, Head of SEI's Institutional Group EMEA and Asia, said:

'We are delighted to welcome Katherine to SEI. Her significant investment consultancy experience will prove invaluable as we continue to grow and cement our relationships with both fiduciary management consultants and professional trustees. With the CMA review of investment consulting and fiduciary management complete, and many pension schemes looking to explore the fiduciary management model, Katherine is joining SEI at an exciting time. We look forward to working with her to further build our business in the U.K. market.'

Katherine's appointment follows a series of senior appointments within SEI's U.K. Institutional Group, including Louise Whyte, Director of Defined Contribution Sales; Alistair Jones, Director of Advice; and Wendy Gill, Head of Institutional Operations, EMEA and Asia.
