Samty Co., Ltd. announced consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended Nov. 30, 2016. For the year, the company reported operating income of ¥8,586 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥4,628 million or ¥196.42 per share on net sales of ¥52,409 million against operating income of ¥5,932 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥4,412 million or ¥203.98 per share on net sales of ¥38,458 million for the same period of last year. Net Income per share after adjustment for residual shares was ¥178.91 against ¥175.9 for the same period of last year. ROE was 15.3% against 17.1% for the same period of last year. Income before income taxes was ¥6,956 million against ¥6,274 million for the same period of last year. Cash flows from operating activities was ¥4,697 million against outflow of ¥4,208 million for the same period of last year. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was ¥19,081 million against ¥14,550 million for the same period of last year. Purchase of intangible assets was ¥21 million against ¥41 million for the same period of last year.
For the year ended Nov. 30, 2016, the company announced an year end dividend of ¥33 per share. Start of dividend payments (Planned) is February 28, 2017.
For the year ending Nov. 30, 2017, the company expects, to pay an year end dividend of ¥36 per share.
