Sakura Sogo REIT Investment Corporation (TSE:3473) agreed to acquire Abode Yoyogi Parkside property in Tokyo for ¥1.6 billion on July 31, 2017. In a related transaction, Sakura Sogo REIT Investment Corporation agreed to sell Royal Hill Kobe Sannomiya II property for ¥1.8 billion on July 31, 2017. The transaction will be funded from proceeds of disposal of Royal Hill Kobe Sannomiya II property and working capital. If either of the party cancel the agreement, the party who breaches the agreement shall pay a cancellation penalty of 10% of the consideration representing ¥160 million. The transaction is expected to complete on September 29, 2017.
