On January 31, 2022, Saba Capital Management, L.P. has filed a preliminary proxy statement soliciting proxies and urged the shareholders of Templeton Global Income Fund to vote for its nominees; Karen Caldwell, Ketu Desai, Mark Hammitt, and Anatoly Nakum, for election to the Company board at the Company's 2022 annual meeting of shareholders and (ii) to terminate the investment management agreement between the Company and its investment manager, Franklin Advisers, Inc.
