The board of directors of Razer Inc. announced that with effect from January 1, 2020 Mr. CHAN Thiong Joo Edwin has been appointed as the Chief Investment Officer of the Company and he ceased to be the Chief Financial Officer of the Company on the same date; and Mr. TAN Chong Neng has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He was Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller of the Company from November 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019. The Chief Investment Officer will be responsible for managing the Company's investment portfolios.

This will involve, among other things, developing both short-term and long-term investment plans of the Company, including corporate finance and treasury investments, venture capital investments and M&A. The Board is of the view that Mr. Chan possesses the right skill sets and experience, and is the most appropriate candidate for the role. Mr. Chan is an Executive Director of the Company and served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company from June 2013 to December 31, 2019. Mr. Chan previously served as the Director of Corporate Finance from July 2009 to May 2011, the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Finance from May 2011 to May 2013.

Mr. Tan Chong Neng has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Tan served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller of the Company from November 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019. Mr. Tan previously served in various finance leadership roles in a career spanning more than 20 years.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Tan was the Group Chief Financial Officer of the Tri-Star Group. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Stanley Security Solutions in Asia Pacific. Mr. Tan holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a bachelor of accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, and is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore).
