24 January 2014 Company "Quadra - Power Generation" Installs Heat Meters in Apartment Buildings of Lipetsk

The Eastern branch of JSC "Quadra - Power Generation" implements the investment project to install meters of heat and heat-conducting medium in apartment buildings in the city of Lipetsk, which are connected to the heat grids of the branch. The project is implemented in accordance with Federal Law #261 of 23 November 2009 "On energy saving and energy efficiency improvement".

The implementation of the program began in December 2013. To date, metering devices have been installed in 16 apartment buildings in the city of Lipetsk, located in the streets Tereshkova, Kosmonavtov, Ilyicha.

The heat metering system represents a complex of electronic devices recording consumption of fuel and temperature of heat-conducting medium, which is mounted at the pipes of the heating system of the building.

"These instruments give an objective picture of the amount of heat consumed by the house, which in its turn removes disagreements between producer and consumer of heat energy. In addition, installation of common house metering devices will encourage residents to conduct energy-saving measures in the house," Acting Director of the Eastern branch of JSC "Quadra - Power Generation" Alexey Kurilo said.
For data collection and transmission, common house metering devices are equipped with a dispatch system. The heat metering system will allow to assess not only the amount of the consumed heat energy, but also to control the operating parameters of the heating system functioning, such as pressure in the heat-conducting medium in feeding and return pipelines of the heating grid.

Before the end of 2015, heat meters will be installed in 76 multi-flat houses of Lipetsk, in particular, along the streets Kosmonavtov, Tereshkova, Gagarina, Tsiolkovskogo, 3 Sentyabrya, Ilyicha, Krasnozavodskaya, Military town and Osenniy alley. Funding for this investment project will be carried out using own funds.

Previously, the company "Quadra - Power Generation" implemented a similar project in Voronezh, where from 2008 to 2013, common house metering devices were installed in more than 600 houses.
