Proximedia confirms position as market leader


The Proximedia Group remains the market leader in internet solutions for SME's. The company realized 55.3 million Euros in sales and services in 2012. Especially the brand BeUP had a remarkable growth in the past year.



The Proximedia group continues her progress and realizes 55.3 million Euros in sales and services in 2012. That is an increase of 7,4%. At the end of March, Proximedia will publish a detailed report on the results of the previous financial year that closed on 31st December 2012.

The most important growth was generated by the services in Search Engine Advertisement and e-marketing for SME's delivered by Online Internet by the brand "BeUP". Online earned 9.46 million Euros in sales and services, a rise of 42.9% compared with 2011. Thanks to these results, Online Internet won the Datanews' ICT Gazelle award. This price is awarded to the fastest growing ICT businesses in Belgium.

With 22.5 million Euros, the oldest branch Proximedia Belgium provided the lion's share in sales and services. It confirms its perfect command over the constantly evolving website market.


Bezoom, specialised in audiovisual communication, recorded a growth of 5.7%. It realised 15.5 million Euros in sales and services and is currently the second largest branch of the Proximedia Group.

The marketing branch Globule Bleu obtained 2.5 million in sales and services in 2012. This year, they made websites and marketing campaigns for, amongst others, D'Ieteren, EVS Broadcast Equipment, Iles de Paix, Bacardi en Xpertize.

The foreign branches Proximedia Nederland and Proximedia France ended 2012 with respectively 5.4 million and 1.22 million Euros in sales and services. Proximedia Nederland has a nice growth of 8% compared with 2011.

The newest member of the Proximedia Group, AFE Benelux, realised 4 million Euros in sales and services last year. AFE Benelux didn't join the Proximedia Group until September 2012. Therefore, only 1 million Euros will be taken into account for the consolidated numbers for 2012.
