Protek Group announces financial results for 1HY-2015

Protek Group (PRTK:RTS, MICEX), one of the major pharmaceutical companies in Russia operating in all the segments of the pharmaceutical market (production, distribution, and retail sales), announces its audited IFRS results for 1HY-2015.

In 1HY-2015, the Group's consolidated revenue went up by 18.2% y-o-y to RUB 84,232 mln.

The Group made a consolidated gross profit of RUB 14,076 mln., driving the gross margin to 16.7%.

The Group's consolidated EBITDA amounted to RUB 6,396 mln., with EBITDA margin reaching 7.6%.

Mr. Vadim Muzyaev, President of PROTEK Group, has commented on the 1HY-2015 financial results: "Group's consolidated revenue growth rate accounted to 18.2% and exacerbated pharmaceutical market's growth rate which grew by 17.3% in 1HY-2015*. The Distribution Segment revenue growth rate improved with 17.7% y-o-y due to the growth of commercial market and successful financial strategy through partnership with proven and financially viable customers. The Production Segment showed moderate growth of 14.1% y-o-y, while the Retail Segment performed high upside of 26.7% in 1HY-2015, revenue amounted to RUB 14,186 mln. The retail segment continues to grow organically mostly in discount format under "Zhivika" and "Bud Zdorov!" brands, discount pharmacies' share reached 63% of total number (831 out of 1325 as of the end of 1HY-2015). Generally, the management of PROTEK Group is satisfied with 1HY-2015 financial results".
