Contents of the report:

The Management Board of Kopex SA with its registered seat in Katowice (the Issuer) in addition to the current report RB72/2016 dated 1.09.2016 informs that the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of KOPEX SA on its meeting held on 1 September 2016 had appointed Mr. Czesław Kisiel to the Supervisory Board of KOPEX SA of the seventh term of office.

The Issuer provides below the information about the new member of the Supervisory Board of KOPEX SA, in accordance with § 28 of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance dated 19.02.2009 on current and periodic information submitted by issuers of securities and the conditions for recognizing as equivalent information required by the laws of a non-member state.

Mr. Czesław Kisiel has a higher education. He graduated from the Cracow School of Economics, Faculty of Production Economics, Field of Studies: Planning and Financing of National Economy, Specialization: Planning. He also completed Post-Graduate Managerial Studies based on the MBA structure, organised by the Warsaw School of Economics. Mr Czesław Kisiel also completed, among other courses, a course to become Official Receiver and Liquidator, as well as a course for members of supervisory boards in sole shareholder companies of the State Treasury, organised by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and "Business Consulting Service".
