Pontex Polyblend Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 237.711 million compared to TWD 240.082 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 12.336 million compared to TWD 263.339 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 3.12 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 709.013 million compared to TWD 614.014 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.477 million compared to TWD 210.019 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.24 compared to TWD 2.49 a year ago.
PONTEX POLYBLEND CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, development and manufacturing of spare parts and engineering plastics. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Equipment Components segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of plastic injection molding products, including the soles, sports equipment and related spare parts. The Composite Materials segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of engineering plastic materials, including the glass and fireproof composite materials, as well as nylon 6 and nylon 66 cold resistant materials. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan and the rest of Asia.
