Pontex Polyblend Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 239.453 million compared to TWD 226.261 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 9.641 million compared to TWD 3.759 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 8.502 million compared to net loss of TWD 1.477 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.1 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.02 a year ago.
PONTEX POLYBLEND CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, development and manufacturing of spare parts and engineering plastics. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Equipment Components segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of plastic injection molding products, including the soles, sports equipment and related spare parts. The Composite Materials segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of engineering plastic materials, including the glass and fireproof composite materials, as well as nylon 6 and nylon 66 cold resistant materials. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan and the rest of Asia.
