Podak Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 770.797 million compared to TWD 708.102 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 58.117 million compared to TWD 50.519 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 43.389 million compared to TWD 35.377 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.89 compared to TWD 0.73 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.89 compared to TWD 0.72 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 2,034.080 million compared to TWD 1,907.687 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 147.370 million compared to TWD 128.058 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 121.162 million compared to TWD 104.602 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.49 compared to TWD 2.15 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.47 compared to TWD 2.13 a year ago.
PODAK CO., LTD. is principally engaged in the agent distribution of Panasonic passive products and Panasonic active products. The Company is also engaged in the distribution of other products, including batteries, relays, motors, connectors, surveillance system equipment, light-emitting diode (LED) tubes and home appliances. The Panasonic passive products include solid capacitors, electrolytic capacitors, plastic capacitors, power chokes and gold capacitors. The Panasonic active products include transistors, diodes, metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFETs) and LEDs. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan and Mainland China.
