INSIDE INFORMATION - UPDATE ON WINDING UP PETITION

This announcement is made by Ping An Securities Group (Holdings) Limited (the "Company") pursuant to Rule 13.09(2)(a) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the inside information provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated 24 June 2020 relating to a statutory demand; and the announcements of the Company dated 27 July 2020, 6 August 2020, 21 October 2020 and 27 October 2020 regarding the Petition (collectively, the "Announcements"). Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as defined in the Announcements.

Pursuant to the decision handed down by the Court on 12 March 2021, the Petition has been adjourned until 10 May 2021. Further announcement(s) will be made by the Company as and when appropriate and in accordance with the requirements of the Listing Rules.
