On January 6, 2020, Pattern Energy issued a press release relating to the
closing of financing and start of construction on the repowering of the Gulf
Wind facility located in Kenedy County, Texas. The Gulf Wind facility has
entered into a new 20-year power purchase agreement with Austin Energy for the a
majority of the facility's energy production. A copy of the press release is
furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
