One World Pharma, Inc. Appoints Vahé Gabriel as the Chief Financial Officer

One World Pharma, Inc. announced that Vahé Gabriel was appointed to serve as the Chief Financial Officer of One World Pharma, Inc. Mr. Gabriel, 63, has been the Chief Operating Officer of ISIAH International, LLC, a holding company with interests in a diversified portfolio of businesses, since November 2020, and has more than 20 years of experience in senior-level leadership focused on operations and finance for start-up and early-stage growth companies. From January 2020 until joining ISIAH International, Mr. Gabriel was the Chief Executive Officer of Atthis LLC, a start-up formed to provide construction, drilling and maintenance services. Previously, from July 2015 until February 2019, Mr. Gabriel served as President and Chief Operating Officer of CGL Companies, a Hunt Development Company, providing planning and design, project management and facility management services. Additionally, Mr. Gabriel was involved in the waste and recycling industry for number of years, starting with Waste Management (formerly USA Waste) and with Waste Services of Florida, as well as the cellular phone industry working for McCaw Cellular which was acquired by AT&T. Mr. Gabriel started his career in public accounting in the Pittsburgh office of Deloitte and Touche where he became a registered CPA, and was a supervisor/manager in the audit group for several years. Mr. Gabriel holds a BS in Accounting from Duquesne University and an MBA from the University of Washington’s Executive MBA Program. Mr. Gabriel’s appointment as Chief Financial Officer, Bruce Raben no longer serves as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer, and has been appointed to serve as an Executive Vice President of the Company.
One World Products, Inc. is a holding company and conducts its business in Colombia through One World Pharma, S.A.S., a Colombian company (OWP SAS), its wholly owned subsidiary. OWP SAS has the licenses to cultivate, produce and distribute the raw ingredients of the cannabis and hemp plant for medicinal, scientific, and industrial purposes in the town of Esmeralda-Popayan, Cauca, Colombia. Its business involves the cultivating, processing, and supplying crude cannabis oil, distillate and isolate to customer specifications. OWP SAS owns approximately 30 acres and has a covered greenhouse built specifically to cultivate high-grade cannabis and hemp. In addition, it has entered into agreements with local farming co-operatives that include small farmers and indigenous tribe members, under, which they cultivate cannabis on up to approximately 140 acres of land using the Company seeds and propagation techniques and sell their harvested products to the Company on an exclusive basis.
