OMNOVA Solutions Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended November 30, 2011. For the quarter, the company reported net loss of $10.4 million or $0.23 per basic and diluted share on net sales of $301.4 million against net income of $81.5 million or $1.82 per basic share and $1.80 per diluted share on net sales of $190.3 million a year ago. Income from continuing operations before income taxes was $30.1 million compared to $33.3 million a year ago. Capital expenditures were $24.1 million compared to $13.7 million a year ago. The company announced asset impairment was $0.7 million.
