Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation agreed to acquire Oy Samlink AB from Posti Group Oyj, Aktia Bank p.l.c., Oma Säästöpankki Oyj, Savings Bank Group, Svenska Handelsbanken AB, Asset Management Arm, POP Pankkiliitto osk and other minority shareholders.

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (NasdaqGS:CTSH) agreed to acquire Oy Samlink AB from Posti Group Oyj, Aktia Bank p.l.c. (HLSE:AKTIA), Oma Säästöpankki Oyj (HLSE:OMASP), Savings Bank Group, Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ), Asset Management Arm, POP Pankkiliitto osk and other minority shareholders on January 23, 2019. The addition of Oy Samlink Ab will further strengthen Cognizant's banking capabilities, and expand its network of delivery centers in the Nordics. The transaction is subject to the approval of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland and reviewing by the Financial Supervisory Authority.

The transaction is expected to close on April 1, 2019.
