OAT Agrio Co., Ltd. (TSE:4979) signed a share acquisition agreement to acquire 75% of Lida Plant Research Sl and 76% of Capa Ecosystems Sl from Ricardo Villuendas Segui on May 25, 2018. Under the terms of the agreement, OAT Agrio would acquire 75 shares of Lida Plant Research representing 75% stake and 38 shares of Capa Ecosystems representing 76% stake. For fiscal year 2017, Lida Plant Research Sl and Capa Ecosystems Sl generated combined sales of JPY 1.1 billion, EDITDA of JPY 210 million and Net Income of JPY 174 million. For the same period, the acquired entities had total assets of JPY 1.5 billion and net assets of JPY 1.3 billion. The transaction is scheduled to complete by the end of June 2018.
