NTT Docomo proposed the appointments of Kazuhiro Yoshizawa, Yoshikiyo Sakai and Akira Terasaki as new senior executive vice presidents, to succeed Kazuto Tsubouchi and Fumio Iwasaki. Yoshizawa will be responsible for technology, device and information strategy. Sakai will oversee the consumer business, marketing, and the global as well as corporate business. Terasaki will look after the corporate business, the improvement of
business operations and CSR. Yoshizawa is currently an executive VP and managing director of the corporate strategy & planning department, Sakai a director at NTT and Terasaki an advisor at Nomura. NTT Docomo also named other new members to its board, including Smart-life division MD Hiroyasu Asami, Chugoku regional office MD Kiyohiro Omatsuzawa, Shikoky regional office MD Shoji Suto, Smart-life Solutions department head Toshiki Nakayama, corporate marketing department (II) MD Makoto Tani and Gobal Business division MD Hajime Kii. A number of senior VPs will also be appointed. The appointments will be put up for approval at the company's shareholder and board of director meeting scheduled for 19 June.
