Check companies presented a joint exhibit at the 83rd annual International Agricultural Fair this year. According to Pavel Svoboda, Commercial Counselor and Head of the Commercial and Economic Section of Czech embassy in Belgrade praised the success of the ag exposition saying they were extremely happy with the attention they were getting from the attendees.


The Czech Commercial Counselor also reported significant sales directly resulting from contacts made at the event and the development of new business relationships. 'We couldn't have achieved a better response and exposure elsewhere', said the Czech counselor, 'the Czech businesses are definitely looking forward to coming back next year with an even larger pavilion', said Svoboda.

Hungary could be found exhibiting in Hall 1. The display mainly included food products brought to the Serbian market by Tisacoop of Kanjiza, a wholesale distributor and retail chain for Hungarian food products. 'We have been making appearance at the Agricultural Fair for nine years, and I've never seen anything quite like this before. This year's agricultural fair has been a perfect opportunity to gain visibility for some of Hungary's most esteemed food products. I'm excited about the media exposure our display achieved and attention from the prospective buyers, especially after the show', said Tisacoop managing director, Nikola Zmukic.

The same contentment was shared among the Turkish businesses that premiered at this year's International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad. TG Expo, organizer of the Turkish pavilion said, 'As a national agency we are delighted to bring numerous companies to the Turkish pavilion at this event. Many Turkish companies seem keen on penetrating the Serbian market and launching their products and well-known Turkish delights, said a TG Expo's official.

'We established important contacts with buyers and prospective partners here at the Fair. Our overall experience was extremely positive; the event was a great location to meet different people.'

Turkish entrepreneurs exhibiting at the ag fair sought to network and establish business ties in Serbia saying they are already making plans for the next year when they're looking to bring three times more Turkish companies to the Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.

Mr. Aitor José Mate Rincón, Kingdom of Spain Embassy office for Economic and Commercial Affairs in Serbia Counselor, was also pleased to see Spanish companies exhibit at the 83rd annual International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.

Seven companies from Spain made their appearance at the event and all of them stirred up great interest by the attendees. 'A lot of visitors stopped by our booth inquiring about what we had to offer', said Rincón, adding that they were looking forward to what would happen with those new contacts and the new market they had discovered for the future.
