Nera Telecommunications Ltd. announced appointment of Kay Pang Ker-Wei as non-executive and independent Director, Chairman of Nominating Committee and Member of Remuneration Committee. Other Directorships present: VMware Inc. - Senior Director and Associate General Counsel, Ms Pang has no prior experience in being a director of a company listed on the Exchange. She will be attending training on the roles and responsibilities of a director of a listed issuer as prescribed by the Exchange.

Professional qualifications: Ms Pang holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) from the University of Sheffield, UK. She is admitted as a Barrister-at-Law at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, England & Wales, and as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She furthered her studies at Cardiff University (England & Wales Bar Vocational Course) and National University of Singapore (Diploma in Singapore Law).
