To improve its sales and marketing capabilities by creating a strong commercial focus, Napatech announced the hire of two new senior vice presidents. Walther Johannessen has been selected for the role of SVP of Global Marketing, and Andrew Patterson will serve as SVP of Global Sales. In his new role at Napatech, Johannessen will lead the company's global marketing organization, with a focus on marketing strategy and activities designed to meet its growth ambitions.

Prior to Napatech, Johannessen served as director of EMEA marketing at Citrix. Before that, his 11 years at IBM covered a wide range of marketing positions. He brings the latest knowledge on modern marketing, a high degree of commercial savvy and a good balance between an analytical mindset and a hands-on approach.

Patterson will lead the company's global sales and support organization, focusing on driving business directly, or by channels, as well as securing continued strong customer relationships. Patterson was most recently the managing director of Complete Pixel in UAE for the past four years and drove substantial growth in an entrepreneurial environment during that period. Prior to Complete Pixel, he held a variety of executive positions within sales, business development and technical services in many different international companies.
