Moser-Baer India Ltd. reported unaudited standalone earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2014. For the quarter, net sales /income from operations was INR 238.10 million compared to INR 2,896.1 million a year ago. Loss from operations before other income finance cost and exceptional items was INR 642.5 million compared to INR 456.8 million a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 1,381.7 million against INR 1,317.5 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 1,381.7 million or INR 6.63 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared to INR 1,317.5 million or INR 5.63 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items a year ago.
 
For the six months, net sales /income from operations was INR 7,658.5 million compared to INR 6,312.6 million a year ago. Loss from operations before other income finance cost and exceptional items was INR 2,050.2 million compared to INR 810 million a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 5,018.8 million against INR 2,302.5 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 5,018.8 million or INR 24.47 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared to of INR 2,302.5 million or INR 12.68 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items a year ago.
