Modulight’s executive board member, Mr. Kalle Palomäki has been selected as the Vice Chair of the Enabling Technologies Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) in Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C). QED-C is the key organization in the US that has the mission of accelerating the development of the US Quantum market.

Celia Merzbacher, QED-C executive director, comments on Mr. Palomäki’s election for the Vice Chair: “Laser technology is especially fundamental in quantum systems, such as trapped ion and neutral atom based qubits, and quantum networking. Lasers truly are an enabling technology, and that makes Mr. Palomäki’s selection to Enabling Technologies TAC especially suitable. We’re looking forward to Mr. Palomäki and Modulight’s expertise.”
