The new Omega Yard 300 welding machine from Danish manufacturer Migatronic just keeps on welding - no matter what it is exposed to. Designed for heavy-duty usage, it is ideal for use in shipyards, workshops and on construction sites.

The machine has been tested in extreme environments and has proven highly resistant to impact, metal dust and moisture. "With this machine, you are guaranteed efficiency and ease of use. This is welding equipment for the most demanding tasks using MIG/MAG and MMA welding processes", says Torben Henriksen, Product Manager at Migatronic.

A machine you can trust

"It is a reliable machine designed to minimise downtime. The duty cycle is 100 % at 40° C and there is no power loss during welding or by use of long welding cables", says Torben Henriksen.

The Omega Yard 300 meets an increasing demand for a high-performance welding machine that is easy to move around.

"A welding machine is an advanced piece of technology. We know that welding machines are exposed to a little of everything, and it is important that welders can trust their equipment to work no matter what it is exposed to", Torben Henriksen explains.

Perfect for welders in the field

Especially shipyard workers make heavy demands on welding equipment. Two-shift or three-shift operation, rough treatment through manholes, lifting by crane, grinding dust and unstable energy supplies are everyday working conditions that the Omega Yard 300 can match.

The lightweight machine has a robust cabinet. "This makes it the preferred equipment for welders in the field. It is easy to move from one working area to another and it can connect with a generator", says Torben Henriksen. The machine is also easy to operate and requires minimal training.

Today, almost all types of welding consumables are available on 5 kilogram spools which the Omega Yard 300 utilizes for weight and flexibility reasons. Optional features include outlet for remote control and advanced gas flow control.
