Announcement on Magyar Telekom's share buyback

Budapest - June 26, 2024 - Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB, hereinafter the "Company"), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that in accordance with its extraordinary announcement on February 22, 2024, for the purpose of shareholders' remuneration, the Company purchased 550,000 Magyar Telekom ordinary shares (HU0000073507) at an average price of HUF 1029.27 per share on June 26, 2024. The share purchase was carried out on the Budapest Stock Exchange via negotiated transactions through Erste Investment Limited, as investment service provider. Following the transaction the Company holds 30,036,413 treasury shares.

The Company purchased between June 19, 2024 and June 26, 2024 on the Budapest Stock Exchange - via daily trading and negotiated transactions - a total of 21,200,065 Magyar Telekom ordinary shares (HU0000073507) in the value of HUF 22.3 billion, as listed below.
