HUDSON, Colo., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Magnum D'Or Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MDOR ), a next generation rubber recycling Solutions Company, announced today the Magnum SRI custom compound light truck tires have set new records. As previously announced (View here) the Magnum SRI Custom Compound's tires were installed onto the Magnum SRI pre-specified truck and driven to the Rubber Research Institute of the Malaysian Rubber Board's Tire Lab (RRI) where the "On Road" validation and testing of the tires commenced per their protocol. At 14% recycled content, the Magnum SRI Custom Compound tires are nearly 6 fold (600% better) what exists today in terms of surface treated crumb (recycled rubber) in tires, whether truck or automotive. In this case it means that tread compound has 14% of recycled rubber content and the sidewall of the tire has a little more than 14% recycled rubber content. Virgin compound modified to allow for customization added to the activated compound will make the final custom compound proportion 20%.

Update: The RRI has just completed the load Endurance tests on the 1st sets of the Magnum SRI custom compound light truck tires along with the control tires (continuous operation under excessive load). The Magnum SRI tires have successfully cleared the minimum specifications and were then taken to destruction (push to the max); the results were equal to or beyond the control therefore exceeding expectations. These tests are now in the process of being repeated several times to re-verify these test results as this achievement is considered to be very significant.

Having cleared the 1,000 KM mark with the Magnum SRI truck several weeks ago the test truck has now officially started on its weekly pre-specified schedule runs of roughly 4-5K kilometers per week. This also includes 1.5 tons of loads in the truck while it runs. This is all being done to help establish the Magnum SRI Performance parameters. At the same time we are running trials on the control tires (OEM Tires) in order to compare results. This is so Magnum SRI can replicate representative performance numbers and data. In other words, over the course of the next week we expect more updates from the RRI with fairly substantial intervals in terms of distance traveled.

Furthermore we expect to have some substantial test results from the RRI as of next week and will then update the market accordingly. The performance specifications achieved thus far by the Magnum SRI custom compound tires clearly equal the original control specimen and are being treated as an OEM tire and tested with the same procedure(s).

Both Magnum and SRI are very pleased to be working with the Rubber Research Institute of the Malaysian Rubber Board's Tire Lab (RRI) as well as the Director of the Research Facility, Dr. Alias Othman and the very able research staff at the facility. Magnum SRI Next Generation Custom Compound tires have proven to be a historic event where substantial recycled content was successfully incorporated into a premium production tire for the very first time ever without any loss in properties while affording a reduction in raw material cost in-between 6% to 8% to the manufacturer.
