KSG Agro member farms have completed the harvesting campaign of winter crops: barley, rapeseed and wheat, on a total area of about 6.34 thou hectares. This was reported by the press service of the agricultural holding with reference to the head of the crop division Dmytro Yemelchenko.

The farms of KSG Agro agricultural holding have completed the harvesting campaign of winter crops: barley, rapeseed and wheat, on a total area of about 6.34 thou hectares.

Barley was harvested on an area of 1,100 hectares with a yield of 3 tons per hectare, rapeseed on an area of 2,138 hectares with a yield of 2.5 tons per hectare, and wheat on an area of 3,100 hectares with a yield of 5 tons per hectare.

The harvesting campaign involved 13 combines, 2 of which are John Deere and the rest are Claas Lexion. In addition, 4 reloading hoppers and about 50 trucks were used to transport the crops.

"The efficient work of the holding's teams and weather conditions with sufficient rainfall resulted in a good harvest. Despite pessimism about winter crops in autumn and winter due to higher prices for fertilizers and plant protection products, we reached the break-even point and even remained in the black," summarizes Dmytro Yemelchenko.
