Kofax plc (LSE:KFX), a leading provider of smart process applications for the business critical First Mile TM of customer interactions, today announced the appointment of Grant Johnson as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Johnson will be responsible for all marketing functions on a global basis, including corporate communications, demand generation, product marketing, marketing operations and related activities.

Before that, he was Chief Marketing Officer of Pegasystems Inc., a leading provider of business process and customer relationship management software, during which time the company's revenues more than doubled. He was previously a Vice President of Marketing at Guidance Software, Inc., a leading provider of eDiscovery and security solutions; FileNet Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise content management software; and FrontBridge Technologies Inc., a leading provider of SaaS-based email filtering solutions. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
