Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2024. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 16,600.2 million compared to INR 13,838.3 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 16,671.8 million compared to INR 13,923.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,485.5 million compared to INR 789.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.25 compared to INR 5.45 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.24 compared to INR 5.42 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 58,983.2 million compared to INR 50,238 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 59,269.6 million compared to INR 50,494.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 4,418.7 million compared to INR 3,324 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 30.5 compared to INR 22.98 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 30.46 compared to INR 22.88 a year ago.

The Company operates through three segments: Business to Business (B2B), Business to Customer (B2C) and Financial Services. Its B2B segment includes businesses related to fuel agnostic internal combustion engine platforms. The businesses include power generation, industrial and distribution & aftermarket and international business. Its power generation business includes engines, gensets, backup solutions, across a range of power output from two kilovolt amperes (kVA) to 3000 kVA. The industrial engine business activities are molded completely according to the motive power needs of customers who require products from over 20 horsepower (hp) to 750 hp in the industrial engine space globally. Its B2C segment consists of water management solutions and farm mechanization solutions.
