WideQuick HMI/SCADAThe new WideQuick version contains an update of our alarm object which provides the system integrator and the user with an increased flexibility. From version 7.4 forward, we can deliver all WideQuick components both as 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

The new 64-bit version can utilize significantly more working memory and in addition the program is somewhat faster than the 32-bit version. For some time to come, we will continue to deliver the 32-bit version, since all our users don't have the ability to upgrade their systems instantly.

The Alarm object has been extended with a new tab in WideQuick Designer and it allows the user to adjust how the alarm columns should be presented in WideQuick Runtime and WideQuick Web Client. The user can select which columns that will be displayed, select minimum column width, what order in which they should be presented and what text that should appear in each column. Yet another news is that any text can be set to the Alarm Property and the level of 'Severity' for example 'A-Alarm', 'A', 'Type 1' etc.

WideQuick version 7.4 is ready for delivery on January 9 2017.
