Kenmec Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 870.986 million compared to TWD 931.816 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 66.086 million compared to TWD 122.926 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 62.506 million compared to TWD 37.288 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.25 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago.

The Company mainly operates through four business segments. The Automation Business segment is mainly engaged in the production, sales, installation and leasing of automated assembly line equipment and related supporting facilities. The Solar Power Generation Systems segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture of power generation, transmission and distribution equipment, as well as wireless communications equipment. The Electronic Components segment is principally engaged in the manufacture of electronic components. The Others segment is mainly engaged in the solar water heaters and real estates businesses.
