KCM Group recently began construction on the Sycuan Reservation Infrastructure project. This project will greatly enhance the main access road and associated utilities that serve Tribal residences and Tribal health services. A ground-breaking and Tribal blessing ceremony was held on March 11, 2013.

The company has provided full pre-construction services and will continue to provide on-site construction management of the project on behalf of the Tribe. Construction is scheduled to be complete in early 2015. The project involves a comprehensive upgrade to road systems, utility services and open space.

The main road will be realigned and widened to provide safer and more convenient access to homes and services. Extensive utility upgrades include new domestic water service, converting individual propane service to domestic gas, and converting septic systems to community sewer service, new reclaimed water lines, and a new sewer lift station. The project also includes undergrounding power and communications services.

Electrical service panels at each residence will be replaced, new energy efficient appliances will be installed, and new driveways will be provided at each residence. In addition, the project includes extensive landscaping featuring a palate of native plants, a new pocket community park for Tribal homeowners, and a community orchard.
