Metallocene polyethylene produced by Kazanorgsintez PJSC takes the Grand Prix at Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum

Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum dedicated to the 300^th anniversary of the Russian Authority for Mining and Industrial Supervision was opened in Kazan. Kazanorgsintez PJSC presented its products at the 26^th International Specialized Exhibition entitled 'Oil, gas. Petrochemistry' held within the frameworks of the Forum.

The novelty product of Kazanorgsintez PJSC is metallocene linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) Grade F2010M which took the Grand Prix in nomination of 'Products with new or improved features.' It should be noted that the product was launched on the market in April 2019. Kazanorgsintez PJSC became the only Russian producer of metallocene polyethylene.

President of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov personally handed the award to General Director of Kazanorgsintez PJSC Farid Minigulov who subsequently introduced the Company's exhibition booth to the President of the Republic.

Metallocene linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) Grade F2010M and Grade F2030M produced by Kazanorgsintez PJSC is used to manufacture films of various thicknesses for packaging, storing and transportation of goods (articles), for manufacturing heavy-duty bags. Such films feature high-tensile strength and high anti-puncture resistance.

The new product was already highly appraised by purchasers. In the first half of 2019, Kazanorgsintez PJSC produced 1.5 kt of linear polyethylene based on metallocene catalyst. The products were sold both in domestic Russian market and foreign markets. According to consumers, the domestic LLDPE is as good as imported analogues. Within the end of the year other 5-7 kt of metallocene LLDPE are to be produced to substitute about 30-35% monthly demand of imported product in the Russian domestic market.

The Company's exhibition booth as well represented the last-year winner, HDPE Grade PE2NT11-9 (for production of pipes and fittings).

The exhibition booth as well represented low density polyethylene Grade 15313-003 (for production of thin films and fil-type articles, for covering the articles approved for food contact), polycarbonate Grade РС-022 (injection moulding for production of industrial-use articles such as dome lamps, water supply meters, automobile headlights and lens), EVA Grade 11808-340 (adhesive compositions and melt adhesives, depressor additives to petroleum fuels, components for covering parchment paper and cardboard, insulation materials, structural panels, and compositions for foot-wear production).
