Jounce Therapeutics Provides Update on First Cohort of Phase 1 Clinical Trial with its PD-1 Inhibitor, JTX-4014

Jounce Therapeutics, Inc. announced that the company completed enrollment in the first cohort for its Phase 1 dose escalation clinical trial of JTX-4014 as monotherapy in patients with solid tumors. JTX-4014 is a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody designed to specifically bind to PD-1 and block its interaction with its ligands, PD-L1 and PD-L2, to augment anti-tumor T cell activity. Jounce is developing JTX-4014 for potential use in combination with its pipeline of future product candidates.

It is engaged in the treatment of cancer by developing therapies that enable the immune system to attack tumors and provide long lasting benefits to patients through a biomarker-driven approach. Its pipeline is focused on product candidates to address PD-(L)1-inhibitor resistant and PD-(L)1 inhibitor sensitive tumors. Its program, JTX-8064, is a tumor-associated macrophage candidate from its Translational Science platform. JTX-8064 is a monoclonal antibody that binds to Leukocyte Immunoglobulin Like Receptor B2, (LILRB2), which is a cell surface receptor expressed on macrophages and other myeloid cells. JTX-1484 is a monoclonal antibody designed to block human Leukocyte Immunoglobulin Like Receptor B4, (LILRB4) on various myeloid cells. Its product candidate, vopratelimab, is a monoclonal antibody that binds to and activates T cell CO-Stimulator (ICOS). It also develops JTX-1484 and JTX-2134 product candidates.
