ITmedia Inc. reported consolidated earnings results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019. For the year, the company reported net sales of JPY 4,950 million compared to JPY 4,608 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 691 million compared to JPY 746 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 331 million compared to JPY 477 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share JPY 19.33 compared to JPY 25.46 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share JPY 19.09 compared to JPY 25.05 a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 5,050 million, operating income of JPY 850 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 510 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 26.16.
ITmedia Inc. is mainly engaged in the operation of media businesses. The Company provides media services in information technology (IT) area. It mainly operates through two business segments. The Lead Gen business consists of IT & business fields including TechTarget Japan, Keymanznet, order navigation and ITmedia marketing, as well as industrial technology fields including TechFactory. Media Advertising business includes IT & business fields including IT, IT Strategy Research Center, ITmedia NEWS, ITmedia Enterprise, ITmedia Executive, ITmedia Business Online, industrial technology field including MONOist, EE Times Japan, EDN Japan, Smart Japan, as well as consumer fields including ITmedia Mobile, ITmedia PC USER, ITmedia LifeStyle and Nogura.
