Patient book appointments online at Ikazia Hospital with iSOFT portalLeiden – 12 July 2011 – Patients wanting appointments at Rotterdam’s Ikazia Hospital can now book them online after the hospital introduced a new portal from iSOFT..

Through the iSOFT Patient Service Portal, which can be accessed directly from the Ikazia website, patients can request an appointment across all outpatient wards. The roll-out follows initial pilots on nine wards.

The Patient Service Portal enables patients to request appointments from any computer via a secure connection. The portal allows patients to register and schedule appointments at a time that is convenient to them, and avoids them from having to wait on the telephone.

For the Ikazia Hospital, working with the iSOFT Patient Service Portal has already increased accessibility. And the Patient Service Portal contributes to Ikazia’s objectives of improving quality, service and patient friendliness.

The Patient Service Portal clearly fills a demand as the pilot phase showed.
